So you want to know how to do business with the Federal Government and don’t know where to start? Here at Business and Government Connections we will have a show where my guest will be Terri Denison.

A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ms. Denison holds a B.A. Degree in American Government from Cornell University and an M.A. Degree in Urban Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a member of the Georgia Economic Developers Association and the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Entrepreneurs and Small Business Coordinating Network.

Ms. Denison was included in the 2006 and 2007 editions of Who’s Who in Black Atlanta. She was honored in the same years by the Atlanta Business League as one of Atlanta’s 100 Most Influential Black Women. In April 2007, Ms. Denison was also named to the list of the top 100 people in Georgia’s banking and finance industry by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

This show will discuss why businesses should consider selling their products and services to the Federal Government. Ms. Denison will talk about strategies that businesses should employ in pursuing government contracting and how to obtain contracting opportunities. Ms. Denison will touch on how small businesses participate in the federal procurement arena.
